In September 2016 Landia delivered another 5m3 silage tank to P/F Luna. The tank will silage the salmon that die before they are processed at the rearing facilities.
In September 2016 Landia delivered another 5m3 silage tank to P/F Luna. The tank will silage the salmon that die before they are processed at the rearing facilities. All pump parts that are in direct contact with the silage are produced in acid-proof steel in order to withstand the acidic environment. The silage tank was delivered with a system to control the acid application rate to ensure the correct balance in the tank.
