MBBR BioMover for the fish industry

The Landia BioMover is specifically developed for gentle mixing of the plastic biofilm carriers (biomedia) in MBBR tanks. The biofilm carriers used in the MBBR processes in modern sewage treatment plants are usually made from HDPE. They are constructed in such a way that they have a very large, internal surface area, where the biofilm can grow without being knocked off or otherwise destroyed when the biofilm carriers are mixed and hit each other.

Let us find a solution together

How BioMover works

A slowly rotating, stainless steel propeller ensures gentle and energy-efficient mixing of the biomedia, and the gentle mixing prevents excessive wear on the media. The Landia BioMover ensures that the entire contents of the tank are kept in motion and that the biomedia does not clog the retention screens.
